Gopher Web Hosting is part of a art data center. The Data center offers complete redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security.
Your server will be connected to the Internet via multiple high bandwidth connections, making sure your data can be reached, viewed, updated, and accessible with incredible connectivity and network strength.
With over 35,000 sq ft of raised floor, The Datacenter has an offering to fit any of our customers needs. Our product offerings include private caged suites, cabinets, half-cabinets, tri-cabinets, and rackspace by the Unit. The datacenter facility is powered by multiple power grids, with PowerWare UPS battery backup power and dual diesel generators onsite. Our HVAC systems are condenser units by Data Aire to provide redundancy in cooling coupled with 10 managed backbone providers for the best possible bandwidth. Twelve more third party backbone providers are available in the building via cross connect. Fire suppression includes a pre-action dry pipe system including VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) with over 500 smoke detectors.
All our servers are fully managed and include the excellent Cpanel/WHM control panel software which means you dont need your own systems administrator. All servers are monitored 24/7 by Gopher Design to give you extra peace of mind.

Network Infrastructure:
Our network architecture utilizes the Enterprise routing and switching engines from Juniper and Cisco. We utilize Juniper M20 routers as border routers, Cisco 6500 series switches in our distribution layer and Cisco 6500 switches in our aggregation layers, and Cisco 3500 and 2900 series switches at the customer layer. Our network is fully meshed and redundant with 10 backbone providers. Our current network consists of UUNet (GigE), Sprint (GigE), Level 3 (GigE), Global Crossing (GigE), Verio (GigE), AT&T (GigE), Time Warner (GigE), Allegiance Telecom (2 x GigE), Broadwing (GigE) and AboveNet (2 x GigE).
